海洋学院师资队伍实力雄厚，既有德高望重的老一辈学者，也有锋芒初露的青年专家。这支队伍是学院培养优秀人才的主力军，也是学院科学研究、服务社会的中坚力量。                                                                                

截止2025年11月，学院有教职工202名，其中：正高级教师47名，副高级教师62名，博导51名，硕导100名，具有博士学位的教师171名。

学院现有全职院士、共享院士各1名，“杰青”1名，海外优青2名，享受国务院政府特殊津贴专家2名，“国家优秀青年科学基金”、“青年科技奖”获得者、国务院学位委员会水产学科评议组成员、农业硕士教指委委员各1名，农业部岗位科学家3名，省万人领军人才1人，省级“151”等各类人才26名。
